Your first steps on the ground: Secure temporary accommodation before anything else · Register your stay at the local police station (MUP) within 3 days · Buy a prepaid SIM card (HT, A1, or Telemach) · Register your address (prijava boravišta) at MUP · Apply for your biometric residence permit at the police administration · Obtain your OIB tax identification number (Porezna uprava).
