Your first steps on the ground: Collect your residence permit (verblijfsvergunning) at an IND desk · Secure a fixed address — required for gemeente registration · Buy a prepaid Dutch SIM card — no BSN needed · Register at your gemeente and obtain your BSN · Open a Dutch bank account (bunq/ING/ABN AMRO — BSN within 90 days) · Give your employer your BSN and a signed payroll tax statement (loonheffing).
