The steps, in order
Visa, application, insurance, tickets: we’ll help you prepare each step with the timelines in mind.
Your first steps on the ground: Book your PMLP appointment online before arrival · Check your D visa shows 'THE RIGHT TO WORK WITHOUT RESTRICTION' before job-hunting · Keep your comprehensive health insurance valid for the whole permitted stay · Plan around not having a personas kods — a working holiday D visa does not grant one · Declare your place of residence (dzīvesvietas deklarēšana) · Buy a local prepaid SIM card (LMT, Tele2, or Bite).
We’re here for the trip home too, from closing accounts to taxes and contributions you may be able to claim back. Find the steps for your destination in the app.
